Men's Mechanics Style Oiled & Waxed Leather Belt - 1 1/2" w/Figure 8 Stitching

This was a hard belt to find these days and was excited to find it on Amazon, Quality from the get go, Quality built. Thank you for the craftsmanship.

I received the belt today.I was really pleased with the craftsmanship. It is a really good quality belt for the price . I bought two of them the black and the brown. It fit perfectly.There are few things.., I would like to recommend to those whose are interested about buying this belt. If you wear size 40 like me , buy size 42 to have more room . There is one little thing that did Irritate me with the belt . It is not the belt itself. However, the smell of the wax to put on the belt. It is not really pleasant. After awhile I know the smell will go away but it really a annoying . Other then that I would recommend this belt.

This is a well made belt. My old one had abrass hook fitting which I did not have to remove at TSA3, this one has a steel hook fittin which I have to take off at TSA. You need to go back to the brass fitting for convience of the customer at airports. Other than that it is a very well made belt

Belt showed up in the middle of a work day. When I first opened to box and saw the hook style I was really concerned belt would not stay hooked. After putting belt on went back to a job of lying on a car floor working under the dash. I figured good test right off the bat. Belt stayed together no issue. Since then have been wearing it at work and home for the last 3 weeks with the hook coming undone maybe two times. Only time will tell how it works once it is broken in. I like that it is about two times or more thicker then most belts. Only thing I would do different if I order again would go up one or two sizes. I bought the size I measured (38) and use the last hole most of the time

Had to return as way below specified waist size. I ordered a 34 and the first hole on the belt was roughly 33". I would have exchanged for a larger belt but return was the only option. Very high quality leather and well stitched, good hardware. I would order 4" larger than typical waist size.

Nice belt, a bit thick, but well made. The sizing description was hard to follow, wound up just a bit too large. It was stated the belt was thick, but for a work belt it's fine.

Great quality. I bought this belt because it reminded me of belt my father wore when i was a child, and i needed a no scratch belt. I'm very pleased with the quality of this product, i would buy again.Update: i ordered this belt in August of 2018. I am still wearing this belt in August of 2022, and wear it every day, work or home. Very good quality. I have just now started to experience one part of the stitching coming loose where the belt overlaps, with no separation. Still works great.Also, holds my IWB holster well and keeps what is inside it very secure.I will buy another soon!

Excellent quality, very well made as far as durability. Terrible design. It is a very thick belt. Once it overlapse the two layers wouldn't fit through my belt loop. But what I found the most dissatisfying was the loop on the back side of the belt to slip the end through. This makes it very bulky and unattractive. It is unnecessary if there were a second hook. I've had a brown belt that looks very similar to this one for over 20 years. It's got two hooks not one and there is no bulky, impracticle loop. It never comes undone without the loop. I would recommend that design. There's less involved in the making of the belt as well. Less leather, less sewing, less time.
