It's ok, but I wish it gave more detail about the differences between British and Australian English.

Is a great book

I would recommend this book to learners of English because it gives all the very basic ingredients of the language such as where to place apostrophes, the use of articles or determiners as they are often called, and just as importantly the requirement to stay in one tense when telling a story. The English language can be difficult to newcomers so this book is a very handy companion to a dictionary.

I agree with another reviewer - it does not make it clear at all that this is all about Australian English and "what makes Australian English unique".(p5). So it is no use for me and I've wasted my money.

Bought for my girlfriend and she says its really helped her.

As always Essential for dummies books are great.
