Baytter 3B1837016A Front Right Door Lock Mechanism 16cm x 8.5cm x 12.5cm Black

Purchased for my Boy Racer son. Teen lads...........you got to luv em!! Driver's door refused to lock or open on his souped up VW and he pulled the door.........and the car to bits. Fortunately, with the aid of Amazon and the right seller, I managed to track down the faulty part. A few more hours of fiddling around undoing and fitting............and voila, a happy teen with a working door again. No more scrambling over his passenger chicks to exit his motor, which is apparently, highly uncool. Highly recommended!!

This is a copy not a genuine part so the door release cable are now too short, also the Volkswagen comfort feature that opens all the windows when unlocking the doors by twisting the key right for 3 seconds now works every time, so every time I unlock the car all the windows open... This can only be fixed by putting the old module back or by buying expensive VAG diag cable and software to turn of the feature.

Arrived really quickly. Bought for mum mum. Dad (who isn't a trained mechanic or anything, pretty handy though) managed to fit it and works perfectly. No complaints.

Not good fitted one to my drivers door was fine for about 3 months. Now my door opens while I'm driving if I go over a bump!!!!!

Poor quality. Lasted 5 months before failure.
