Review: Great for cleaning CPAP equipment - Removed the odor from a new air hose - I am impressed with this cleaner. I have a new CPAP hose that has a chemical odor and no other cleaner I have tried has had an effect on the odor, that is until I tried Alconox. I put 1/2 teaspoon of this liquid detergent in the hose then hooked the hose up to the bathroom faucet and ran water until the hose filled with liquid. I rocked the hose with the soapy mixture back and forth a few times to make sure the Alconox was mixed with the water then let it sit in the sink for 30 minutes after which I turned the faucet on and ran water through the hose for several minutes. The chemical odor is now gone! The product price seemed expensive, so I was hesitant to order, but it's concentrated so a little goes a long way. I am really glad I found this product. I stumbled across the Alconox name in a file I downloaded from ResMed's website on how to disinfect ResMed CPAP equipment. I will be using this liquid detergent to do a thorough cleaning of my CPAP equipment from now on. I love it when a product works so well!

**Q: Any one know: is this product can be used to clean the parts of Mass spectrophotometer?**
A: Yes. Alconox products including Liquinox are routinely used to clean the metal parts of a Mass Spectrometer (flow plates, rails, etc.). Mix it with LCMS grade water and rinse thoroughly with LCMS grade water and LCMS grade solvent (methanol or IPA). I recommend a a dilution between 1:50 to 1:100 in Water.

**Q: Can I use this to clean vinyl records?**
A: Yes, and it works very well. I've used it to clean ~600 albums in an ultrasonic cleaner (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07L3G9TBS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) so far and am very happy with the results. I use 10-20ml in a 6 liter US machine depending on how dirty the records are. I use Liquinox, by itself, at 10ml concentration for records I have cleaned before, 15-20ml for used records straight from the thrift/record store, including 78s (shellac) w/o issue.

**Q: How far out is the expiration date?**
A: Far enough out you'll never have to worry about it.

Liquinox arrived on time. And in perfect condition.. it was very well sealed to prevent leaks, and well padded for shipping. Product is used for ultrasonic cleaning of watch parts and other small equipment needs. Excellent product, exceeds expectations. A little goes a very long way using a +- quarter cup per four liters of distilled water. Excellent value for the money spent.
