If you've seen the movie/series How to Train Your Dragon, you'll see the similarity of this adorable dragon and the beloved character. I got this for a teen fan of the movie and she loved it. So nice to find such a unique gift. The kit has everything you need, too. I don't mind the eyes being glued on because they look the same as Toothless. :) No regrets buying this product.

Personally I would not recommend for someone's very 1st ever crochet project.On a 1 to 10, 1 being the easiest starter project and 10 being expert, I would give this a 3. QR code for the videos are very helpful but I'm not sure they brake it down far enough for someone who has no previous experience. With that sead I did enjoy this little project, no real problem. I chose to go in a different direction for the eyes, not caring for their glue on eyes. Though I knew they were glue on eyes, these kind of eyes are a pet peeve of mine. With my tight tension this project came out just under 10 inches. I did change a few things when I was doing it. Some out of laziness. Like, I didn't bother with the chain and slip stitch at the start and end of the rounds. With out color changes this is just unnecessary and for beings it could get confusing. It also put a bumpy seem down the back. I don't normally use this method so I could have been doing it wrong. Lastly the material provided are decent other then the yarn. As a starter yarn it unravels to easily. I didn't have much trouble with the yarn but if I looked back as a beginner I definitely would have struggled with it. I had more then enough yarn to finish no problem, even with adding a few rounds here and there. I just wanted the tail to match a certain dragon, it wasn't because i ran out of yarn.

Everything you need is included! I haven't finished it yet, but so far so good! It has been fun!

I’ve never crocheted before but, my dragons are halfway down and they are coming out well. I went online to find tutorials in addition to the ones given with the product because those confused me. Once I got the basic stitches down those the pattern is easy to follow and you can use their videos to make sure it’s coming along correctly. My kids are really excited for their dragons.

Was an Easter present for a boy. I liked it more than he did. It had all the needed supplies and instructions. Better than candy! ( for me, not him)

The packaging was nice. All the materials you need comeIn this box along with some practice material, how to videos to follow along with. I really liked this and once I am fished with the dragon I plan to get more!

I got this so that I can make it for my newborn niece. The tools are good quality, it comes with two sticks of hot glue (nowhere was it mentioned that I needed a gun or that I would’ve been using the glue sticks) two crochet hooks, instructions (they got videos on how to do the stitches but not the whole project) and the yarn plus some accessories. Straight up, I hate the yarn, you have to be careful as when you are stitching they’ll probably come apart. It is not easy for a beginner not everyone can read patterns so it would be nice if someone actually did the project and posted a video making the exact process not just the stitches and then you figure it out. It is cute ngl, but it stressed me out fr with the yarn coming apart so fast. The finished product was cute, not too big, perfect for babies and toddlers.

I am super excited about this kit. The yarn is soft. I like that I have multiple hooks for this project. And easy follow along instructions. I am so glad that I have bought this kit.
