There were a lot of good reviews on this, so I hope I just got a lemon. I had an immediacy issue though, so rather than having this replaced, I returned it and went with something a little more expensive (and likely to be more reliable).I was very disappointed with this after all the good reviews. I wasn't expecting much since it was $25 with my coupon, but I expected it to at least play. The build quality was mediocre. The paint wasn't great, and the glue areas between the neck and the body were kind of ugly, but beauty wasn't necessary for this particular purchase. Then I noticed the deal breakers... The third fret wasn't seated. It had been pushed in at a 45 degree angle, so most of it wasn't in its slot. A little wiggle and it came right off in my hand. I also noticed that the nut was shorter at string one than at string 4. I went ahead and tuned it up just for giggles. And it sounded nice aside from the fact that I couldn't make any open chords. Barre chords at frets 4 and above worked nicely though.I would say if you need a cheap beginner tool these could be nice if you get a good one. Just be sure to inspect it for problems right off. If you don't need it within a particular time frame, and you have time to play the "return it for a good one" game, these could be a nice tool for a kid or one you're not afraid to beat up since it kind of looks like crap anyway.Check out the pictures to see the issues I've mentioned. its not a bad little instrument however, we just came back from hawaii where I was unable to get back out before we left to buy one for my daughter, so I was happy to find one (and at 1/2 the price) here so that I could just pretend I shipped it from Maui for her haha. Well.... I searched for along time to find one with a little Aloha flare... yet They didnt spell Aloha correctly and its on the case and on the instrument twice. its says "ALAHA" Im going to try my best to alter the wrong letter in it but honestly I was pretty disappointed in this mistake. Not the end of the world disappointed, but its still a drag.

Great little ukulele. My 11 year old son really likes it. Doesn’t seem to stay in tune for too long but that could be user error as we are still getting used to it.

Very nice sound for the price. Strings kind of crappy, but better ones could be substituted.

My two young ages 14 and 10 years old wanted a ukulele. They could not get it tuned using the tuner provided or the app tuner they use. There sister has another ukulele and it sounds better. My boys were very disappointed.

The sound quality is great. It came exactly as described- wonderful brown color, tuner, pick, extra strings and the bag. Excellent deal for 30$!

My daughter asked for a ukulele purchased this and was disappointed the neck was bent almost making it impossible to tune. Went to a ukulele store in a nearby town and purchased a Kala!

This is perfect for a beginner! Very pleased!
