Pinched Riser Cablex2
Opened the case to find the included riser cable was pinched between the spine and the GPU bracket, ruining the cable. I have tons of spare riser cables but because of how it's utilized in this case I cannot use any of my spares as a replacement. Put in a ticket with Fractal who said they would replace it. I waited almost a month with no updates so I asked in the ticket, "where is my replacement?" to which they replied, "it's on backorder". A few weeks later (so over a month and half after the original order) they ship the cable and close the ticket. I just opened the package to find multiple gouges in the replacement cable and a crimp in the same exact spot as the previous like it was taken from another case where it was hastily installed the same way. I haven't even checked if the cable works because I don't care at this point. This was my first and last Fractal purchase. The case is otherwise well constructed and good looking but I cannot look past their inability to ship or replace a proprietary cable. I will have to jerry-rig a solution using a cable from a more reputable manufacturer as I refuse to wait any longer for another replacement.
