Aqara make reliable IOT devices and this one is no exception. My personal favourite is it’s dry contact functionality with both circuits Interlinked as required, can drive blinds & garage door's and has was they call “pulse”mode” which means you can emulate a momentary on “Button” switch in HomeKit. In my experience the best source of information for this device was via Chat-gpt other AI’s are available😃

Lo hemos utilizado para hacer que nuestra persiana motorizada pase a ser una persiana domotizada y es una auténtica pasada. Eso de que a determinada hora se suba y baje es genial. Lo único que le pediría a Aqara es que le hicieran una actualización al firmware para que pudiésemos ajustar el inicio y el fin del recorrido de la persiana para poder subirla o bajarla al x%. Por ahora lo he podido conseguir cronometrando cuánto tarda en subir y bajar y hacer una automatización de subida y de bajada por x segundos, pero es más trabajoso. Aún así, no me parecería justo ponerle alguna estrella menos por este aspecto, pues cumple con su funcionamiento a la perfección.

*** UPDATE April, 2025: After over a year, still working fine. My outdoor gate opens every morning at sunrise and closes every night at sunset. NO issues! Raised my rating to 5 stars just because it is so rare to find a product that works so well day-in and day-out. Will be buying more. I am using this to control an outdoor gate with a custom controller. While I could have rigged my own WiFi interface and app using an ESP32 controller, I have not been successful making these work reliably. This relay module and iOS app solve that problem. The Aqara hub is not far (~40 feet) from the relay module. The signal going through one exterior wall is 100% reliable. Being able to see signal strength (including history) in the app is a huge benefit and helps when orienting the module’s antenna. Apple HomeKit integration also works great. My two complaints: 1. Both relays share a common COM connection. This is useless if you want to control two independent circuits. 2. The app’s automation rules are limited. For example, you can trigger an automation at sunrise or sunset, but no delta can be added (e.g. 30 mins after sunset). Also, while you can combine rules (e.g. sunrise AND raining) you cannot invert a condition (e.g. sunrise AND NOT raining). Hopefully this will be fixed in a future update. In general, I am pleased with this setup. It does what it is supposed to, even if it has some limitations.

As a user of both the Aqara ecosystem and Home Assistant, I used this device to split and extend a single power line for ceiling lights. It has been working flawlessly for over six months with both the Aqara app and Home Assistant. Integration was seamless, and using Home Assistant, I’ve been able to create multiple automations based on this switch. It’s a reliable and versatile addition to any smart home setup.
