Worked with the correct bait
I bought this a couple months ago, and put in some cereal for bait......nothing. Was ready to throw it out, when I decided to put in some dog food kibble. Apparently our roaches prefer dog food, because when I looked today, roaches were trapped in there! So not sure if its just a coincidence that I trapped some at the time I changed the bait , after all cockroaches don't seem to be picky eaters, but I gave this trap a 5 star since it really does work now, whether or not it was the bait change.

Great product for catching cockroaches alive
I raise reptiles, and for some reason there are a fair number of cockroaches in my reptile room (I did not purchase these to feed the reptiles). If I walk into the reptile room at night and turn on the light I see them scurrying all over the place -- disgusting creatures! Fortunately, chameleons love to eat these things. I put out the trap with granola as the bait, and the next morning there were about 20 cockroaches trapped inside. Most people would just kill them by putting the trap underwater (hence getting rid of the roaches without using anything toxic). I used them as chameleon food. In any case, it worked well, and can be re-used the next night simply by adding more granola (bait).

This cockroach trap does not work.😡
We bought this trap with the roach tablets and put a piece of bread in it per directions. The roaches ignored it. We discovered roaches in the garage one night so we put the trap out there. Again, an empty trap in the morning. I threw it in the garbage. This morning I put everything up high in the garage in the TX heat, swept , and put down a granular poison all around the perimeter. I can not recommend this trap at all.
