Barbera 1870 1st Generation 100 ESE Espresso Paper Pods

Terrific pods, rich, deep, and bitter. At first I thought the pump on the ese machine was failing because it was taking almost twice as long to brew a shot. But, after some experiments, I found it was the Barbera pods that slowed the brew. I suspect that the coffee packed in these pods in denser or perhaps a finer grind, but the result is definitely more flavor per pod.

Not as flavourful as others I've tried.
