Found the content was not all about the past, but mention people who have no significant connection with Swindon. Would have expected more about the history of the area. Some what disappointing.

Good and appreciated gift for a 70th Birthday for someone born and who grew up in Swindon. Lots of familiar names and places

A really interesting book with loads of detail about Swindon and people who have had or have connections with the town.
