When purchasing your First desktop computer, in the hope to play the most modern games, unless you can afford £600+, (and really who can?) Your out of luck.So a sensible person will purchase this type of basic foundation, and then save up for a PSU (stronger battery around £80) and GPU (a stronger graphics card for gaming purposes at around £100-£200+.) The good news is upgrading is extremely easy, i managed to do it with help on youtube.This computer is great because it gives you that basic strong foundation to add to, it comes with the PCI slot on the motherboard for a future GPU. (simply slot it in and go) It has excellent 1tb of save space, iv had a similar one for years and have not even filled it up half way. You get windows 10 and the "internet" all ready to go. Finally the graphics card which is on their can actually play quit some good games, total war games up to Rome 2, age of empires and so forth.Also it comes in a brilliant case full of fans to keep it cool!You wont imo get a better deal than this, i got this for my brother who is 13 so he can grow up with it and add to it when he wants.Fast delivery, (next day delivery, exceeding expectations)

UTTER TRASH. NEVER HAD SOO MANY BLUE SCREENS IN MY LYFE. I ASKED FOR AN EXCHANGE AND I STILL GOT THE SAME RESULTS.

Out of the box, this Stormforce Onyx PC is pre-built with all you'd need to get online. With one of the latest 3.1 GHz quad core AMD-8 processors it is no slouch either, coupled with a Radeon R7 graphics card and 1Tb of HDD means it should easily cater for most gaming needs (and non-gaming needs too).Once unpacked, and plugged in and connected to a network, the Windows 10 set up is simple, although you then have to download the latest Windows 10 updates which can take a while unless you have a good internet connection speed. Other key software to install would be anti-virus, plus any of your core software/drivers you may use, as it comes with nothing other than Windows 10.Cosmetically it is a very stylish design - with one side being clear, you can see the inside workings of the PC, largely empty I should add. This all lights up in a warm red glow with red LED fans when switched on. Size-wise, it is a fairly standard upright desktop (H: 456mm W: 208mm D: 381mm)Other core stats:8Gb RAMNetwork card/port4x USB32x USB28 channel high definition audioThere are a couple of negatives- not wi-fi enabled (just wired connection)- having some kind of optical drive would have been useful- having a basic keyboard/mouse supplied would also be useful (although most people would have these already)However, the positives far outweigh these. It is quick, looks good and does a very admirable job of dealing with demanding software

So far I’m very happy with the Stormforce Onyx A8 9600. Set up was incredibly fast – after plugging in the keyboard, mouse and monitor (not included) and switching it on at 9:30am, it was ready to go by 9:36am (of course there were some updates available). To save having a wired internet connection I bought https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003MTTJOY/ which is doing me fine for a general connection but may not be reliable enough for gaming. The tower itself is quite large (although standard really) and does produce some sound but copes well with graphics and multi-tasking which would normally send my laptop into meltdown. This is definitely at ‘entry level’ in terms of gaming though so would be ideal for those just starting out or - as I’ll be using it – for heavier multitasking, photo editing and video creation. Biggest downside is the lack of CD/DVD drive for those with physical copies of games/software – you’d need to use an external drive for these.

Purchased as a entry level gaming system and has met my needs perfectly. The case looks awesome and Windows 10 is a huge upgrade from previous versions.For everyday tasks, the Onyx system never lets up. Gaming is limited to older titles or less demanding ones such as Minecraft. Overall a great purchase for the money. Would recommend.
