Welcome DVD release from Dean & Jerry
During their 10-year partnership, Martin and Lewis made no less than 16 feature films for Paramount starting with "My Friend Irma" in 1949 and ending with "Hollywood or Bust" in 1956. The latter being released just after their infamous break-up. "Money From Home", their first release in colour and the only one of their films shot in 3D (although distributed only in 'flat' format) is a Damon Runyan-type tale of horse-racing and gambling.Martin is the one owing money to bookies and Lewis, predictably, his goofy side-kick. Although having a strong cast of reliable character-actors, Sheldon Leonard, Robert Strauss, Richard Haydn etc. and directed by veteran George Marshall, this has to be one of Dean & Jerry's weakest efforts. To see them at their best it would be better to seek out a "Colgate Comedy Hour" from this period. Nevertheless if you MUST have everything by the team then this is a welcome release. Technically, sound and picture quality are superb.Only available on region 1 at present.

Laugh Out Loud!
Probably not one of Lewis and Martin's best, but still good for a few laughs.

Martin and Lewis fun
This is a typical Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis movie, fun and just plain silly in places. Guest baddie Gerald Mohr excels.
