I received a similar pair of scissors in a gift exchange. They turned out to be super handy - we use them all the time and they're always easy to find, hanging on the side of the fridge - but they were an awful color of green. I got these black ones to take their place and I couldn't be happier with a pair of utility scissors! They are unobtrusive on my fridge and they come apart for easy cleaning. Now we have multiple pairs - upstairs, downstairs, in the shed... Don't hesitate, just buy them!

Before even using these kitchen shears, I had been requested to comment on them. As soon as I have used them, I will write a comments..These are the Multi-function Kitchen Scissors. Since the magnetic surface on the refrigerator is very smooth, the scissors tended to slide down. I cleaner the scissor surface and left them wet No longer do they slide down..

The scissors itself is of high quality. If you are relying upon the magnetic holder to hold the weight of the scissors on the refridgerator, you will be disappointed. The moment you put the scissors in the holder, the holder immediately falls.

Absolutely loved the for the first month, then the broke! I would not recommend for that purpose. Other than that they were sharp and wonderful!

Nice and sturdy

Accidentally threw out my other multi use kitchen scissors, and after reading the reviews in these, I decided to get them. They work great and super easy to clean.

These are heavy duty scissors. I find them a bit heavy and hard to open. My better half is pleased with them and considers them manly.

After 4 months they're still and hard to open to begin a cut. I don't recommend.

I bought these shears to replace the last two pairs I went through quickly. So far, these kitchen scissors have been excellent. They are heavy duty, allowing me to cut through large pieces of beef or chicken, and the handles do not bend or distort their shape while I'm cutting something thick. The blades are sharp. I use them for opening packages as well, or for cutting sandwiches or pizza into bite sizes for my kiddos. I've used these daily, and so far, have not seen any rust in the pivot screw in the center. To wash them, I hold them under the running tap and scrub with a soapy brush, then put them upright, open, in my dish-rack to dry. Bonus - the little blade guard will be perfect for keeping them closed to take on a camping trip.I would absolutely recommend these to a friend!

Not as good as other kitchen scissors; poor blade design, not ambidextrous.

Product looks cheap and holster for scissors was broken when it arrived. I'm sure the blade is sharp, etc. However the product itself looks poorly made but then again what can you expect for something this cheap? Does not look like the handles will last as they feel like cheap plastic. My recommendation is to spend the extra money and buy something you know is quality and doesn't feel like it will fall apart in your hands like this one does.
