My baby could lean forward and place with toys in the netted area, with that being said a child could submerge their face in water or even swallow water if the tried but I didn’t feel like he would be able tip over the float. It is very easy to blow up and hold air well. the release air button allows for the float to be deflated SO easy- no more fighting to get the air out. It was fairly easy to fold back up and place back into the travel bag, other floats I was not able to get the float back into the bag. It’s held up all summer with no fading or rips. The sun shade is adjustable so you can always keep the sun out of baby’s face. Would purchase again, good quality for price point.
