HAMAKA Gun Cleaning Rope (.22cal 223 5.56mmRFL)

I ordered the rope for the .243/6mm size, my gun is a .243. The first time I tried using the rope it was extremely tight and I didn't get it far into the barrel before I started to cut off the circulation in my fingers and nearly pulling the gun out of my vice. I figured out pretty quickly that there was extra fabric at the stitch between the lead rope and the actual cleaning rope and after cutting off the excess the rope moved through the barrel much easier but still had a good amount of tension without feeling like it was to lose to clean properly.
