Great Product, Mysterious Company
This is a lot of bang for the money. Easy to set up and use. Large screen is easy to read. What I don't like at this point is the lack of credible presence in the U.S. This product appears to be manufactured in China and up tp this point has been sold only in Europe and Asia. The only Internet search results on the selling company and or the product name is not in U.S. English except for their Face Book page.I would suggest that the manufacturer open a U.S. based web site for customer support. A search for PilotON GPS returns no results in English.AFTER TIME SPENT, I still rate the unit at 4 stars. If it cost as much as a Garmin I would say less. The maps are not accurate with street and road names when you get into remote area's. Had a confusing trip in West Virginia where a substantial amount of roads had different names in the GPS than in actuality. It is difficult to make custom rural routes and it seems as though it defaults to travel ways for Truckers. Other than that, what the heck. It got me cleanly through Atlanta where there was 10 lanes headed southbound for quite a distance. Without it I would still be there! Nice images in 3d mode. Helpful images of road signs and of exit lanes with great pre-warning of upcoming direction changes. If your not picky and if your not one of the type that want's a steering wheel option for the GPS unit, then buy it! It beats having to stop and read a map and it beats spending $500 + for something that spends most of it's time in the glove box.

the setup and layout configuration is so lame
I work for Fedex and diligence delivery, i work 6 to 12 hours a day everyday for 6 days a week. i know a good gps within the first few minutes.this thing sucks in my opinion. i don't get why you have to click on the street to enter, then click on the # to switch it to numbers, then switch it back letters, then enter the name of the street, then back out, then go to the house number, click in, then type in the number and then go, and then click on go AGAIN. and you have to do it in this order, you cannot TYPE IN HOUSE NUMBER FIRST ( I DON'T KNOW WHY !!! ) its SOOOO SLOW... when you have to drop 30 packages to 30 different house with in an hour. also it has no voice command....if you just need a gps to go to your nephew who just moved in or a road trip, then this is for you because its cheap and has a big screen..

Do not recommend, stick to your Iphone and use this as a backup GPS only
I am pushing it with 2 stars , but I would like to be fair.Pros: Accurate GPS locationCons: Poor Battery Life mine only gets 20-30 minutes , Extremely Hot . Can't tell when the battery is fully charged, maybe that is the reason for such short life is that it has never been fully charged?Suction cup DOES NOT STICK TO THE WINDOW.

Picture good, audio not so much
I liked the size and it worked just fine to get me where I wanted to go. My issues were:Some of the audio statements were incomplete, such as when approaching a destination the unit would say "In 400 feet...." and then silence without the words to the effect of "Approaching destination on your left". Same with joining an interstate... although the direction to travel would be shown on the screen the direction of "north" or "west" wouldn't be enunciated... just "Join You Ess 287" for example.

The things I disliked are: 1
I used this for a few days and decided I didn't care for it. I replaced it with a Magellan GPS that is far easier to use. The things I disliked are:1. Too complicated with way too many "other features" playing music and games - not GPS.2. Voice driving commends way to soft on volume, even on "high"3. If the battery isn't charged fully the device won't operate. It won't turn on.
