Dog training collar
When I first heard of shock collars I was “shocked”. Then I bought one reading of the options: sound, vibrate, shock. And thought I could just use the beep or vibrate. I know my first dog hated any kind of mechanical toy that vibrated. The result may not have been conducive to his training. So he had none. I also never got to walk him relaxingly.I bought one. For 2 new puppies And wanted to know what the shock was like. The instructions even tell you how. Go for it. ZAP!!! Hey!! #%##%. Equivelant to a static “gotcha” rubbing feet along carpet and touching some thing or someone. Not to bad, but makes you weary of doing it again. And worked great on my 1 yr old puppies. They quickly got the message of “NO!” Or “Come.”4/9/18 On the first working day I was able to contact ipets regarding faulty remote, they immediately processed a new remote to be sent. For this sole CS I reaised my stars to 5. customer support of any product is as important part of quality of products.Hating to leave it on shock, I use mostly the vibrate to get their attention. They’ll come when called because they love me and know I have a gift for them. Toy, treat, or hug. This training device is a great passive training tool which wont traumatize your loved pet or give it ill-feelings about you. rewards with treats though not always recommended, they do wonders for keeping dogs attention to you and seeming to be so desiring to follow your commands. This training collar should speed up the training process. It’s design and remote’s appearance is nice and sleek. And I like orange. So the remote is great. For shock mode. Go head hold the prongs and hit the button. You should know what your dog is experiencing. I’ve found 20-25 is good enough to get their attention. I do suggest being careful with those “zings;” Your buddy could get too psychotic and will have reverse consequences of what you want. The separate bottoms for each option is a nice change. Not having to toggle through options to return to desired one. No accidental selections of undesired option. The shock button seems most prominent so easy to avoid or select. And have a treat ready for correct response.Or you may awake one morning wearing the collar with your dog sitting in chair his paw on the button.“Hey, I have to go out, and I want breakfast. Get moving.” ZZZTTTTT. “Yeah, how you like it?”Well the one con is the level setting is manual dial selected and controls both remotes. Rather than each device separated configured as with single button mode selection remotes. Easy to work with, pups can progress at same level. Its not meant to be used to punish, just a passive "nudge" for obedience. So should be a problem using one setting for all.I suggest Lowest common level. As for shock, though the "shock tester" reads at any setting, I didn't notice any "tinge" before 15, and that wasn't annoying at all. 25 "got me." without burning my skin off, but would make me "pay closer attention" to my old man to do my homework, if I'd been wearing. Also yes you can charge both collars at once with the two way charge adaptor, but you still have charge the remote. Company should look into a triplet charging systems to charge ALL implements, collars and remote.Update: after having only 3 days, transmitter stopped recharging. I’m ghinkjng it never charged. Merely plugging it in, only deactivated it for alledged re-charging, but by 3rd day it stopped working and coikdnt t even get a power light signal. The receivers seem to charge fine. Of course problem happened over weekend so no support available, this is part and reason for neutral review. Ideas can all be 5 stars, implementing that idea to working devices is where the skill takes place.

Very impressed. Highly recommend.
We purchased these collars for several different issues we were having with our dogs. We have a Mastiff and a Dogue de Bordeaux. Both dogs are still young, 3 and almost 2 respectively. They both have attended basic obedience classes but we just needed a little something extra as a way of correction. The Mastiff loves to excavate our backyard, not by digging but by yanking huge clumps of grass up and eating it dirt and all. Our backyard has a surface like the moon! He also is slow to come when called even though he knows quite well what the command means. The DDB was really terrible at healing. He would be forging ahead of me and just totally ignoring any collar correction whether it was a flat collar, slip collar or pinch collar. He was also VERY impatient and loud at feeding time regardless of everything I tried to get him to wait patiently and quietly for his food.We were really pretty skeptical that the collars would work for us and I was a little concerned about how to actually use a shock collar, but since they were reasonably priced, we decided to go ahead and give them a try. We are extremely glad we did! We are shocked (pun intended) at how effective these collars are. We were a little surprised when we opened the box and got everything out, that there was only an instruction manual for how the collars operate but no instructions specifically of how to use them on the dogs. However, we received an email from iTronics right after we received our order and it had a lot of information as how to actually use the collars to correct the dogs. There are also videos as well that were very helpful. I highly caution people not to use the collars until you read the information they send and watch a few videos because you may end up over correcting your dog.One of the main reasons we went with this particular collar is its simplicity, just 3 buttons and a dial. We had considered other types but they would require having to switch modes between tone, vibrate and static which would require having to look at the remote which would take too much time, in my opinion, and you'd loose your chance of an immediate correction to the dog when needed. There was also one that had a "safety" so you wouldn't correct your dog by mistake, but again if you have to fumble around with your remote to take the safety off, you loose your immediate correction opportunity. As we learned from the videos we watched and the instructions in the email we received, we started our correction at a very low level and found that both dogs respond pretty well at just a 5 on the dial, using only the vibrate button. We have used the tone to correct the Mastiff when he's out eating the yard and it stops him immediately. The tone also works well when calling them to us if they are ignoring the command to come or if they are out of eye sight and not responding to voice command. The vibrate button has transformed the DDB's healing and also his meal manners are MUCH better. Now he goes to his pad, sits and waits and just softly grunts for his food instead of incessantly barking. So far we haven't used the static setting at all but it is nice to have in case it's needed. We have had problems with canine rivalry in the past so the shock button may be something we could use if that issue ever arises again. One last thing to comment on is the battery life. Again, we are really impressed with these collars. We figured that they would need to be charged every night but we're finding that they only need to be charged once or maybe twice a week depending on how much we've had to buzz someone.

Works great with practice
It takes the dogs time to get used to this collar but all I have to do now is put it on and they become better behaved
