Rest Assured Houghton Natural 1400 Pocket Mattress, Double

Must say we're very satisfied with out new king sized mattress purchased via Amazon for an offer price of £262.95 against an rrp of £699.00 so we got a tremendous saving! However the price has since increased significantly though!? The mattress itself is firm, comfortable and (British!) well made. It has fabric handles stitched in the sides to assist in turning the mattress over which is always a welcome feature. Unlike our last mattress when I now turn over I don't disturb my wife (with the after-shock!) and the Rest Assured mattress is very much like a previous Harrison mattress we used to have which is praise indeed! With a 5 year guarantee we also have some peace of mind in ownership. Amazon efficiently and quickly delivered the mattress and thanks to the guys for taking it up stairs also which was unexpected. Communications about the delivery impressed also. This is no doubt a quality mattress at a bargain price (at least for us!) which we would highly recommend.

I ordered this mattress in king size for my master bedroom because I had previously had a double one from Rest Assured for 5 years (the most comfortable mattress I have ever had and still is - Ortho 800 turnable double), so I will never go with another brand! This one is deeper and so it's useful to note the measurements when choosing the bedftame, it fits perfect on the Ikea Hemnes bedframe (UK 5ft bed size). I have been using the mattress for 2 weeks now and although it seemed very firm to start with it's perfect now and so Rest Assured have proven to have a great product again. Oh and it didn't break the bank, bargain at £300!

I bought this believing it was a soft to medium mattress as suggested by the Amazom search engine, but I later discovered it is a firm mattress. Was in agony for the first couple of weeks, bought a 10cm memory foam topper and can finally get a full night's sleep.It is a good quality mattress though, great if you like hard mattresses.

Great mattress, first night or two it felt really firm but just probably because our old one was too soft! Now it is very good and we are pleased with it and would recommend.

It's delivered timely and to the bedroom. It feels hard however it's only 2 months from the purchase, therefore it needs more time to judge the firmness. It looks good. It has handles on the side for portability. Its' really heavy.

Seen and tried elsewhere so we knew exactly it was what we wanted. Good and firm with no need to flip over from time to time.

Had it for about a month now and very please with it. Very comfortable and looks well made. Delivery was quick also!
