At first this mount was solid once I got it into the proper position in the dash air vents. After 3 months of regular use (5 days a week), the adjustable grip came loose and now it jiggles around to the point where it can’t hold the weight of my phone (iPhone X/Otterbox Defender case). It is now only (and rarely) used as a kickstand.
