Great buy!!! Elegant and heavy duty.

This is one sturdy/heavy kitchen gottahaveit. I had a small one in the past but fought with it most of the time. This set doesn't even begin to move around on me. The base has a rubber gripper material so if you want to move it you'll have to pick it up to move it. Actually it's a joy to use and I keep looking for more ways to use it. I pulverized peach pits in no time at all. It's like you grow extra mussels and the job is done!

I love the design and how easy this product is to use and clean. The herb stripper with chopper is a definite plus!

Not much to say…it’s sturdy and grinds with ease. Love it. Making seasoning is now as easy as 123.

Very nicely made and has some thoughtful features.First off, it is a bit smaller than advertised, and this is quite a drawback for some recipes that utilize that space. If you're just grinding up some spices or smaller recipes it's not that big of deal.I love the silicone base. It makes placing this on the stone counter much more pleasant, no stone on stone impact which always makes me nervous. The silicone cover is just OK. It's a nice thought, and I think it would work well for grinding if it were larger. As it is, the edge can get caught on the edge of the mortar and throw off your grinding groove. It's not quite right as a dust cover either. It has the hole for the pestle, but the pestle can still fall over and rest against the edge of the mortar, throwing the cover out of whack. Even out of whack I guess it still partially functions as a dust cover.Pestle size is comfortable. I'm able to get a nice consistent grind out of this with my whole spices.I have just been wiping it out with a damp towel after I'm done with it. It doesn't absorb any moisture, so if I were to grinding something like garlic or ginger I would be comfortable cleaning it in the sink with soap and a sponge.

The media could not be loaded. I had another one who was very old, so I was looking for a new one. I love it it is very deep. It’s heavy and strong and it has a splash guard that keeps anything from flying away while crushing. This is the best.

Wanted to like this but opened the package and immediately knew I wouldn’t love it. It’s HUGE. Idk how others like they’re pestals but this was way too big in my opinion esp for someone like me who has small hands. The material/stone felt high quality but too bulky and heavy to really be a kitchen staple

Love the stone!!! Great size. The rubber base and shield are fantastic. I wish I had purchased this sooner! ...and the bonus silicon spoon is great too! Very useful. Thank you.
