Easy to handle.
Easy to handle, as it is in three pieces(20 lbs. each). Goes together well. Black finish is tough and scratch resistant. Handles my 300 lb. wood stove without denting. Although a coal could not reach the floor at the seams, there is no provision for insulating at the seams. I sealed the seams with high temp silicon, so coals can't get into the joints.

Awesome. This looks great under my woodstove. Had to have the berber carpet cut out so it is level with it, but it looks great. Way better than the funky tiled hearth pads in my opinion.

Recommended!
Tiled it to increase the R-value to meet my wood stoves requirements. The pad is doing its purpose of protecting my hard wood floors from embers and heat. Recommended!

False Advertising & Bad Service
First: it arrived 2 weeks late and the box was totally destroyed.More importantly: it is NOT "modular." It is meant to be used in the designed shape, no modifications are possible.
