Guaman Poma : Writing and Resistance in Colonial Peru: Second Edition (ILAS Special Publication)

I became familiar with Poma when I read an essay about his efforts to expose Spanish atrocities during their colonization of Peru. I was so intrigued by Poma and purchased to copies, one for me and one for a friend who has an interest in Spanish conquest. The books arrived in a timely fashion and I am taking my time reading it savoring this primary document.
