This makes showering so much easier and safer.
This is presented as a tub bench but we use it in the shower. Ours is a very small shower and this bench lets us get on outside the shower, then scoot backwards into the shower where the seat is then swiveled so the bather is facing the shower. I would have given it 5 stars if the leg height differential were larger (i.e., the legs in the shower could be adjusted even shorter or the legs outside the shower could be adjusted even longer). As it is, the bench slopes down out of the shower a little so we have to strap to the far end of the bench to keep from rolling out while showering. (This is only because the shower is about 8" higher than the floor outside.)

Works exactly as needed
My dad had ankle fusion surgery with no weight bearing for 10-12 weeks and needed help getting into the bathtub to shower. He weighs around 275 lbs. and this bench works really well for him.A couple of things to note:1. Make sure you measure very well before ordering. We ended up having to order leg extenders from the manufacturer's website because the tub was too tall.2. Assembly was easy for the most part, but getting the seat back attached took two people and a lot of strength. They don't tell you this, but you need to take the little gray plastic pieces out of the ends to get it to attach. (Or at least that's the only way we could.) That's why 4 stars instead of 5.

This seat is very sturdy
This seat is very sturdy. I am 200 pounds and I feel perfectly safe on it. The seat slides easily across and back then swivels 90 degrees so you can stand straight up without twisting. I would recommend this to anyone in need of a shower seat.

Great tool but a few set up issues
When you get to the point where it's hard to get around this can be a great tool to have. But even I, a healthy adult male, had a few problems with this.Putting it together is straight forward and no tools are required. However, attaching the feet and seat are not going to be accomplished by anyone who is weak. I had to push really hard to slide the seat and feet into their respective holes. The seat was most difficult because you have to insert two at the same time and the slightest off center will jam it and it's hard to slide it in perfectly straight. The legs are a little easier but I still had to use a lot of force to get them in. Bottom line is whoever needs this probably won't be able to put it together. To adjust the seat there are three red levers right under the seat at the front. The left button allows you to unlock it when the seat is slid all the way to the left, the right button is for unlocking when at the right. The middle lever you lift to unlock the chair to make it swivel. The left and right levers that unlock the seat can actually flip up and become hard to find especially since pushing them down is how you unlock the seat. These levers are also right under your legs. The problem is that if you hang on to the handle which is on your right you have no problem reaching the lever under your right leg with your left hand to unlock the seat. But, when the seat is locked on the left you can't switch hands if you are holding onto the handle so you have to awkwardly find the left lever under your left leg with your left hand.To adjust the height especially for uneven surfaces, such as one side is in the tube and the other on the floor, each leg can be adjusted individually but pressing one of those spring loaded buttons that lock into a hole. Again, this may not be easy for someone who actually needs this seat. There is a seat belt to help prevent someone from falling off the seat. This shouldn't rust, does slide easily, and is very light if it needs to be moved.Overall, once it's set up and understood how it works this is a great tool for someone with difficulties. But getting it set up and explaining how it works is a bit more difficult than it should be and will probably require some help.
