Well, what a useless alarm clock.1. Although it has batteries (3 x AAA), these are only to retain the settings if it gets unplugged from the mains. So it is not battery powered, so be aware of this. You unplug it then the screen goes off2. Not sure on the previous comments on quality, but to me, this phone looks and feels flimsy. Not a quality item... feels and looks cheap3. This is the biggest criticism, it is an alarm clock, but get this it doesn't have a button on the side or on top to turn it off. To stop the high pitched fire alarm sound you have to physically turn the phone around and press one of the small indented setting buttons! Really, can you imagine doing that bleary-eyed in the dark!!4. As the phone functions, I can't see how I can send it back. Very disappointed!AVOID!

Great clock but I am quite light sensitive of a night when i sleep I bought this as ment to dim at night but I found it isn't enough for me. But other than that it is a great alarm with great features specially with the temperature on it great for when my young daughter stays in my room I can make sure it's the right temperature for her

Big ugly and loud, poorly implemented design. Display works when connected to power source. Can't be hung (even though has the fitting) owing to position of power inlet at rear. Short power cable. If you are looking for a massive display next to your monitor, this is for you.

Ordered for my teenage daughter and found this clock is perfect.Sits on her bedside cabinet well and the display gives off a glow but not too bright.The clock is very easy to set up, including the alarm.What is also good about the clock is that it tells you temperature of room and humidity.I plugged it into the mains via a USB cable that came with it but it can be used with batteries.Very happy with the clock

Great clock, great price. Purchased two of these for my home, one for the bedroom and the other for the family room. Has a back-up 9V battery. The numbers are large and can be seen from a distance. Not too bright for sleeping. Back to purchase a third for my parents' bedroom. They request a clock with large display. I knew where to come.

Not dimmable at all. Simply does got have that function and it's crazy bright for a bedroom

Nice clock, it's not only show to you the time but as well temperature and humidity!!!You can even set how bright the screen it can be, so at night it will not bother you!!!Recommended!!!
