This is a handy bit of kit, I couldn't wait to take it to Spain with me so I used it in the garden, it's easy to use and well made. Can't wait for the summer to get full use out of this bad boy.

The media could not be loaded.  !Note: The manufacturer supplied a review or discounted sample for my own evaluation.I only accept / request items that I'm interested in and the opinion of the product is my own personal view.***PERSONAL OVERALL OPINION***This is my third hammock and I was so excited to receive it, I have even bought a new hammock stand.In this case, I have bought a portable hammock stand, so I can put it away in winter in order to maintain it at its best condition for longer (as our last one ended up rusted after the 1st year)In case it helps. I also chose this one because it's supposed to hold more weight than most "permanent" hammock stands.Now that I got the stand of my chest ;) The hammock.The thought of it been made of strong (210T) nylon was very appealing.It also takes almost next to no space once inside its own little draw string bag.So without a doubt, this is the smallest, most portable hammock around.The material makes it light, highly breathable and very strong, holding up to 500lbs / 226kg.But… There's the issue of how the end ropes arrive.Without a knot, and definitely not ready to hang.A loose rope requires a knot… And not just any knot / unless you want the hammock to "tilt" to one side.Hence reason why I show you on the video how to do a double fisherman's knot, just in case it helps.Even though the hammock also comes with 2 x 2.16m / 58" / 7ft long ropes.These are round and of 5.65mm/0.22" of thickness (same as the shorter ones that come on)These cannot be used on trees as it would damage the tree itself.So I strongly recommend you search for straps as the ones on this link, in order to use your hammock in forests and wild areas. A quick google search will give you many ideas ;) As always some better than others.The hammock also comes with two strong carabiners, but I would recommend you these I have been using for a very long time.
