A great journal to keep all your different garden notes in one place for 5 years.
This is perfect for what I needed.I found that each year I was sowing and planting and trying to rely on my memory for what I had done when the previous year and how things had gone. This Journal has beautiful issustrations and has Monthly pages that are in a large grid format to record Weather, Plants in Bloom, Tasks and Notes. There are 5 double pages for each Month. It then has a "Plants to buy" section where you can record what you want to buy, where you've seen it, what suppliers it's available from and planting position. There is also a Gardens to Visit section to record the Garden, when to visit, what to look for and then when you visited and your comments. This is a great idea because I've seen so many plants and ideas in gardens over the years but then when I try to remember what the plant was, or what I'd seen I can't remember. The last section is Noes and it has 4 double pages that are blank for your own notes.

Would like a one year version with more room!
This is a very nicely put together record book. There is a section at the back for suppliers which is handy for detailing where certain plants were purchased and what you bought from where! There is also a section for gardens to visit which I think is less useful and frankly could be dispensed with in favour of a little more room for logging your own garden activity. The sections are laid out not chronologically covering five consecutive years, but month by month - so you have 5 pages for January (one for each of 5 years) all together, followed by 5 for February etc. Whilst this allows for easy comparison between any given month and the same month of the following or preceding year, it could lead to a bit of confusion when filling it in as you are jumping through the book to complete your entries - I would recommend filling all the pages in with the relevant date information before starting to fill it in to avoid confusion! The boxes are also quite small with only one box in each category for a whole week. In many months this is not enough as you only have room to detail one or two brief notes. It would also be nice if some space for photographs each month could be provided - I would like to be able to add pictures of the garden for comparison. Having said all of this - this is the best journal I have seen yet and I would buy it again, however would very much like a one or two year version to allow more space for entries!

I love this book!
I love this book. I never remember what I've done the year before, so this year I have written down what I planted/sowed where and when, and how well it grew, so hopefully next year I will have good info to look back on to optimise my veg growing. The book has plenty of space for writing and record keeping, they have not scrimped on that at all. I am also keeping a brief note of the weather patterns, just because I can now! Might be fun to look back on.

Expensive. Make lovely present? Zzz
The media could not be loaded. I stuck my plant labels and dates in it.

Confusing
It looks very nice but I still can't work out how to use it. There aren't enough sections for every day, for every month?

Very useful for keeping track of your plants from one year to the next
I use this often. My only suggestion would be to have weeks 1-4 listed as well as months

Lovely place to keep gardening notes/tips
Lovely book for the amateur gardener like myself! There are two pages for each month with headings WEATHER...PLANTS IN BLOOM...TASKS...NOTES....then several pages at the back to make notes under headings PLANTS TO BUY....PLANT SUPPLIERS.....GARDENS TO VISIT....And a few pages for your own NOTES. Would have been good to have had a few hints and tips from the professional gardener for each month, like a very old diary I once had but I can't complain as it is the best book I have found by far, and much better than having my scraps of paper with scribbled ideas of mine scattered around the house!
