Works great for my kids crayfish. For crayfish, amphibians and for temporary turtle situations I don't see anything wrong with it yet. Seems to do its job to airate and clean. Also very quiet and love that you can adjust the strength of it. The only thing I would add is that make sure your tank cover is escape proof if using for a crayfish because they can climb just about anything up and out of a tank. However, it helps that the intake on this product is low on it and the sides dont have anything grippy for a crayfish to climb. Also a plus for the product. So 5 stars for crayfish 😅 ## Features - [STAGE 1 2 - CATCHES DEBRIS] Dense, DOUBLE-SIDED(White&Black) mesh sponge clip filters out debris, fish waste, food residue, plant leaves and fine particles etc - [STAGE 3 - CERAMIC BIO-BALLS] These biological media system provide a large surface area and open porosity to absorb odor and discoloration and break down waste to improve water quality - [ADJUSTABLE & STEADY WATER FLOW] This filter allows efficient water filtration with its powerful pump. You can adjust the flow of water to meet your different needs, ideal for aquatic turtle tanks or fish tanks, reptiles, frogs, amphibians - [EASY TO USE] (Lowest water level: 2 inches). Easy to install, convenient top lid canister allows for quick media cleaning/replacement. The waterfall design helps with water aeration - [WIDE APPLICATION] Both for freshwater and saltwater aquarium. Works great for my kids crayfish. For crayfish, amphibians and for temporary turtle situations I don't see anything wrong with it yet. Seems to do its job to airate and clean. The only thing I would add is that make sure your tank cover is escape proof if using for a crayfish because they can climb just about anything up and out of a tank. So 5 stars for crayfish 😅 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great filter! *by B***. on 5 January 2025* Usually skeptical of negative reviews as 9/10 times it's user error other then getting defective products out of the box and in which case I've only ever had to return 1 item in 5 years due to such circumstance. That being said this filter really does pump really well! only using it in 3" of water for a 30 gallon salamander tank and it does the job, Rinse the filter 1x a week and no issues so far. Only thing negative to say is the filters don't have any actual carbon just a mesh and balls. Seems you can also use other filters for this just have to adjust water to flow slower. ## Frequently Bought Together - 222GPH 10W Turtle Tank Filter Aquarium Filter Power Adjustable 10-40 Gal.
