This is by no means a failure or a bad album and if it was anyone else we'd be ...
4 or 5 belting tracks but some of the album seems a little rushed. When you set such a high standard as Biffy do then sometimes you may find these high standards are not always met on every track. This is by no means a failure or a bad album and if it was anyone else we'd be talking about an absolute beast of an album but compared to the previous 3 albums where Biffy hit the mainstream I belief this one falls slightly behind those. Overall a good listen and worth the purchase but a nearly/ not quite on usual and expected Biffy Clyro standards!

It's a grower
I LOVE pretty much anything they've done until this album. It has taken a few listens to like it at all but now I can hear them. I still think they may be on the road to becoming a bit more of a chart pleaser band. I don't like anything past track 8 either cos it just feels weak to me and that's just not Biffy imho. Up to track 8 though - it's a grower! 'Flammable' is the highlight for me.

A solid album but nothing spectacular
Have been a Biffy fan for a long time (since I saw them supporting Sunna years and years ago!) and while this album is fine, it doesn't have the same level of stand-out tracks we've come to expect from the last few albums. I'm sure these songs sound great live but it's a shame not to have some more catchy songs to get stuck in your head.

Classic Biffy...........
Excellent album, classic Biffy hard rockin' and intelligent lyrics with a mix of quite songs too. Not quite up to the standards of Only Revolutions but that would be hard to beat.Took me a few listens to get into it but really worth the persistence.Fav song "all in the name of the wee man"

Love the new album
Love the new album, rather a departure from previous work again and some great stadium rock thumpers wolves of winter, animal style , howl are well crafted top tunes, I liked all the songs on first listen and they have all grown on me more with each listen friends and enemies is my current favourite and I'm looking forward to seeing the band play these live and raw in the summer, a bit different but to me Biffy have produced yet another top, top album. Buy it simple as.

Great Find
Pointed at this band by my son, and I'm glad he mentioned them. Strong lyrics, clear vocals, good guitar lines, better than the heavy metal I sought, although occasionally crossing the line into it. I'll certainly be looking out for recommendations of their CDs
