I have a 2010 Nissan Rogue with 126,000 miles on it. The CVT transmission was prone to failure and that's exactly what happened. When taking off from a stop, the car would only inch forward a few miles an hour which made it too dangerous to drive.As a last ditch effort I bought a bottle and expected it not to work. I noticed a difference immediately and within 50 miles the transmission was working perfectly again.

I used this in a 2006 Murano that had a slight transmission seal leak - enough that you would periodically smell it because the drip lands right on the exhaust, but so slight that over 1000 miles of driving, you won't notice a drop on the transmission dip stick. I'll say at the outset that I never expect these "snake oil" solutions to work. But for a slight seal leak, I thought it might work because it has some seal sweller in it and the problem isn't severe. I put in 20% of the bottle, monitored the leak for 200 miles, then added 20% more, and drove for 200 miles, and so on. I wanted to use only as much as absolutely necessary. After the first 20%, the leak definitely slowed. But now, after adding 80% of the bottle, that reduced leak is still there, and I doubt it will ever go completely away.It did NOT have any ill effects on my transmission. I did not suffer any of the horror stories you sometime read about this stuff. And frankly, I think those stories come about because people have a transmission with a serious problem (like slipping or juddering), they put this product in hoping it will "fix" their transmission, the transmission fails catastrophically soon after, and they blame the product. Honestly, I think those transmissions were going to fail anyway and the product takes the rap for it.So, in conclusion, for a slight leak, if you want to see if you can stop it and avoid an expensive transmission removal to replace the seals, this product helps somewhat and is worth a try. I would not expect any more from it.

Tenía mi transmisión CVT con problemas de calentamiento.El terreno en el que uso mi auto tiene muchas pendientes y exige mucho de l transmisión.Cuando está se calentaba dejaba de hacer cambios y se quedaba en la primera marcha.Aplique este producto y el problema desapareció de inmediato.Ya hice muchas pruebas y no ha vuelto.Excelente producto

Mi auto nissan sentra 2014 cvt transmission funcionaba bien le quise hacer servicio cambio de aceite y filtros le puse este producto y daño la turbina de la transmisión las poleas y los selenoides todo se complico con este producto no funciona para lo que dice que funciona

Bars leak generally make good products. Unfortunately this trans was beyond help with an additive.

This is a good CVT Transmission adjective. It does the job. First, I strongly recommend toreplace the current CVT transmission fluid in your transmission. You need the original CVT fluid from the car dealership so you may want to bring your car to the dealership for transmission service or purchase the CVT fluid from the parts department and DIY.After the transmission service, apply the RISLONE CVT Transmission Adjective into your CVT transmission. You may need a regular size of funnel or a long large one depending on your vehicle. I strongly recommend to pour the whole RISLONE bottle into your transmission. DO NOT BE AFRAID USING THIS PRODUCT BECAUSE I’VE DONE IT MANY TIMES. It’s just a machine not a human kidney or digestive system.Thanks!

I purchased for Murano with CVT that was beginning to run rough and getting worse daily. I added the bottle to CVT fluid and took for a cruise. Felt it working nearly instantly and continued to improve every drive. It has nearly eliminated my issue with only few occurances! Definately recommend since these cars are only built to run problem free for 120 000kms. Definstely saved my junk from the wrecker!

From a Mechanics view. This is about the only CVT additive vs Several regular automatic Transmission additives that are quite successful and I've used many of those in the past and to this day even. Monthly.A lady that I service her vehicles regularly had a CVT. That started to slip. And I thought there's no way all these negative reviews could be true. Now regardless I warned her about having to replace the CVT. But I said for sh#@s and giggles let's just try this for a small price then your not forking out $3K + for a new CVT. Either way she said no matter if it dies it dies. And she'll take it in regardless. So I added this to the CVT. The original fluid wasn't all that bad. Drove it for 10 km. Flawless.Next day she's driving. Blew the CVT. Towed it to my shop. Swapped it. Now was this a major coincidence. I'd like to say sure. But after several reviews stating next day trans is dead. Im gonna go with NEVER USE THIS PRODUCT. And to Bars the company. Remove this product from the shelves, because their is something that these additives or detergents don't do or mix well with regular or brand specific OEM or whatever type of CVT fluids. So with all those reviews of lasting a day then dies. I agree with them. And they are not crazy.I have never used this before nor will I ever again. And I will not recommend this to my worst enemy. Maybe to my worst enemy but to anyone reading this. DO NOT BUY.
