Wallflowers in the Kingdom: A Vindication of Introverts in the Body of Christ Paperback – February 15, 2013

I give this book 5 stars, and I highly recommend you invest in it and read it. The author is candid, imaginative, and gives great practical advice for Introverts to grow in grace and understanding of why we are the way we are. This book would also be extremely helpful to Extroverts as well, as solid research of mindset’s who think and operate differently.Ultimately, this book belongs on the shelf of every Christian. I read it over the course of one weekend…and I rarely do that these days, usually reading several chapters in several books as opposed to falling into one book! To the Introvert out there determining whether they should purchase this book…..I’ll make it easy for you. Buy it, read it, and meditate on it, and you’ll be extremely happy you did.To the author, I commend you, and I encourage you to write a sequel to it as you grow more experienced being an Introvert…I’m sure the Lord has downloaded much additional revelation in you since this was released, and quite frankly, I would like know it. 5 Stars!!!

Being an introvert who often struggles with the highly extroverted atmosphere in the church, I wanted some help resolving my issues. This book does affirm the value of us "innies," but I felt there was a lot of repetition. The author gives his own experiences which is always interesting.There are several errors which should have been caught by proof readers and editors. I found this distracting.Because I am comfortable with my value as an introvert, I wasn't greatly impacted by reading this. I would recommend it for those who lack information about Introverts vs. extroverts and need to be affirmed in their personality type.

Well written! It is as if this writer has written my own message and how I interact in and out of the church. Great book! And great encouragement that there is a place in the church for my personality type! Thank you.

Great book that focus on a Bible prospective not a psychological prospective.

I have too often caught myself trying to get out of my 'comfort zone' and try to be extroverted like most everyone else...and failing. Thanks for the reminder that introverts are not weird.
