ObsidianWire Pro-Wired Custom HSS for Strat (SOLDERLESS Wiring Harness)

This thing is pretty amazing. It’s fiddly to get all the wires locked in but once you’ve got it in it sounds great. You’ll need to widen the knob holes on your Squier Pickguard if you’re upgrading an import like I did, but that’s really easy and straightforward. Other than that, it’s plug and play.

Easy to install and works as advertised, that's about all you can ask for.

I bought this with high hopes and expectations for an easy drop-in upgrade. Unfortunately I was not able to mount this unit in my 1989 SquierII contemporary Stratocaster. This particular guitar does not have a pickguard it has a rear-routed cavity for switches and pots. The circuit board would not fit inside of the cavity without extensive cutting into the body of the guitar which I was not willing nor qualified to do.

Works great , low noise good sound .. little bit tedious to input all the solder free pickup wires on .. took more time than wiring up a normal solder set up .. but does sound good

Easy install. Took all the noise out of my 1996 lonestar strat. Tone control on humbucker. Better tone control all around. Really clean.

Pristine sound and stellar service and support from Obsidian. I didn’t think I could get a better sound than Fender stock electronics. Obsidian has produced a sonic masterpiece.

Awesome! This thing dropped right into my black 3ply musiclily pickguard and wired up really easily. So much nicer than soldering. Only thing is the selector sw is quite big so I had to chisel out some of my squires cavity. Would probably fit on a mexi or American. Pots and switch work amazing. Great quality. Dont regret spending the money on this as it's the best quality

The install was incredibly easy. I bought a cheap pickguard and needed to expand the holes to fit the pot shafts but it was a simple adjustment. Sounds great!
