My 10-month-old daughter decided in the last 2 months that she likes food particularly our food. Every morning I mill up Yukon golds, sweet potato, eggs, and avocado. It's really easy to use just mix bits of your meals and mill them up for the baby. Any hard root vegetable needs to be cooked just past al dente to ensure a good mill. I've used the mill on pulled pork, brisket, and pot roast, and chicken. The one tip I would recommend with meat is to give it a rough chop and make sure it hot if not at the very least warm, this will make it much easier to mill. As it is lent we took this with us to a fish fry and milled up some fish, fries and cole slaw right there at the table. The thing to know when purchasing this item is that it can be a little difficult to clean. It is far easier to clean right away than letting it sit, You will probably use the spray nozzle on your sink to make sure all of the nooks and crannies are sprayed out.
