A great auxiliary filter for CVT, ATF or power steering
What a great little filter! I installed it on the power steering line of my gen 1 Toyota Tacoma and it's working great. I should have ordered 5/16" instead of 3/8", but I was able to slip the hoses over the barbed fittings after heating them in boiling water, and thankfully I have not experienced any leaks. It is lightweight enough to dangle freely when attached in line with strong hoses, or you can easily zip-tie it if needed. It is plenty durable since it is made out of metal, and while I do expect it to last and extremely long time, it's nice that it is so easy to swap out if needed in the future.

good replacement for Honda inline transmission filter or any automatic add on
I plan to cut it open after 10k miles to check out how much crap it trapped and replace it with the same filter, I had a bad stator clutch in the torque converter causing low stall speed causing the fluid to get dirty/burnt so i figure 10k miles for this one then should be good for 50k after that, this seems to be much better than the Honda filter plus it has a magnet for any metal to save the paper filter from getting clogged or damaged by metal debris , I think I will put one on the power steering just to prevent problems with it, also was not sure of flow direction so just start it up with the line off for 2 seconds to verify flow direction ,I hose clamped the filter to the subframe on my Honda my bracket was missing I bought it that way I thought about zip ties but the vibration might wear a hole in the filter so a 4" hose clamp worked out good , The wife's Honda it fits perfect into the Honda bracket like Magnefine made it to fit the Honda bracket so that's nice ,Also I used fuel injection hose clamps they are easier on the rubber the OE squeeze clamps had to go in the scrap ,vehicles are a 2005 and 2006 CRV

good power steering fluid filter
I use these as inline filters for my 2005 Chevy Silverado at the power steering system. They install nicely inline at the return fluid line/hose to help keep the system/fluid clean. Make sure the filter is installed in the correct orientation so the fluid flows in the correct direction through the filter.

Seems to work really well.
Installed on power steering, fluid has been clear for a while now, never had that before!

Great for an older car!
Absolutely love this filter. Put this on my secondary cooler to increase my filtration.
