Solid build and does the job perfectly. The mechanism allows for vertical and horizontal positioning so you always have to make the you attach the suction in an upright position for correct alignment from the get-go. A ball and socket joint would improve things and allow you to make fine adjustments to the alignment while driving. However, my main dislike is the amount being charged for postage; which bumps up the price considerably.

This item does the job much better than the original; at a good price, until handling/postage: Why don't they just put up the price a little and charge a sensible price: overall, very good and quick as well.

This mount is far, far better than the nasty little stickon one provided with the TomTom. That one was smashed to pieces by my wife when attempting to close the glove box on it, but I'm glad we ended up needing to replace it. The lever to lock it in place works very well, it adjusts through a wide range of angles and the TomTom fits perfectly. Overall a high quality product.

This is a much better designed and more robust product that the original TomTom. It has a robust connection to the windscreen and doesn't fall off or vibrate in use. The only downside is that it is larger than the original, and therefor takes up more room in my bag when taking the TomTom on business trips. Overall, and excellent product. Delivered on time.

Bought this for my TomTom Classic One XL which kept falling off at crucial journey points. - it feels sturdy, attaches with suction pad and vacuum lever, has not let me down yet on several long journeys. Very relieved to have sorted the problem. Can alter the angle etc to get best view from driver seat and can now reach the screen!!

This the best tom tom holder i have brought it is a Briliant piece of kit, gone are the days when my tom tom falls off the windscreen just when i need it most. It does stay on the screen untill you release the lever and you dont get all the vibration like on the one Tom Tom supply.

Works brilliantly - not that it had much competition from the original.I did find that it didn't stick overnight but the windscreen had frosted up and it wasn't clean, since cleaning, it has remained in place. Can't believe it took me this long to replace the rubbish original one.

I bought this mount to replace a previous replacement mount which fell to pieces. Having seen how flimsy these items can be, I am very impressed with the robust engineering in the Professional Replacement item. I'm sure it will last for the lifetime of the Sat Nav and beyond.
