You get what you pay for. Designed for right handed use only.
First of all, it's definitely not "mini" as the name suggests. It's not unwieldy, but certainly not mini.Construction wise it feels incredibly cheap; I didn't have super high expectations considering it was $5, but I was at least expecting a little better than plastic that feels like I could snap it with my hands. There's also no threading where the two pieces come apart to insert the batteries. It seems like it could accidentally come apart pretty easily while in the middle of using it, because it doesn't need to be twisted very far to come loose. The little motor in the tip and the button aren't actually secured in the casing. They fell right out while I was trying to change the burr tip with the pen open.If you're left handed, know that the grip is made with only right handed use in mind. You can still use it, but it's pretty uncomfortable to hold with the pre-formed indentations.I'll try to update this once I'm able to use it. It doesn't come with batteries which I don't have on hand at the moment. The packaging, which has typos, doesn't even tell you what type or how many you need--I needed to come back on here to find out.I'm a metalsmith, and was hoping to find something inexpensive to use to engrave some details on my jewelry or just experiment without always having to be at my bench to use my flex shaft. I have a feeling I'll have to keep looking, because I'm not expecting much out of this thing.

Inexpensive yet produced desired results!
5 bucks and 5 Stars for a very useful item. I used it to engrave my Emergency Digital Id tags and it worked perfectly. Prudently I placed the characters on the faceplate with a marker first then traced over them with the tool There's 2 tips included with the package and I found the rounded tip was easiest to control and produced the best results
