Le Summit Quilting Ruler - 12.5 X 12.5"

I have a few quilting rulers and this one is the one I use most often.It's very easy to read off, and very clear when lining it up with fabric edges to ensure sharp, precise cutting. I have a few other quilting rulers and they're far too jumbled up with measurements and gauges which are designed, I think, to make measuring easier: but they actually obscure the fabric beneath, making it much more difficult to line up and cut.I've been using my ruler most days now for ten months or so and it still looks like new: it doesn't seem to have scratched or worn at all, and its size makes it easy to cut all sorts of widths and shapes.Stick with this brand when buying quilting rulers, if you can: and if you do consider other makes, make sure they're not printed too heavily or are coloured, which will make it more difficult to use. I bought this with the Le Summit 6 x 24 ruler. I needed them for a patchwork workshop. They are good quality at a fair price. They did the trick............... but I've decided patchwork isn't for me.The rulers have been useful for drawing posters and banners. They are easy to clean.

Great tool , I recommend it.Thick acrylic ,nice guide lines in blue colour.Good price for the square size of 12,5 inch.One of "must to have"

I had been managing with a smaller ruler approx half the size and did wonder if I really need this one too. Having bought it now I wonder how I managed before. It's used every time I'm cutting out fabric for patchwork or cushions.

I am so pleased I bought this as it has made cutting patchwork squares so much quicker than using a template as I can cut more squares in one go, excellent value for money

Made it easier to cut accross the clothe when rotary cutting. Have passed on my 18" previous ruler to a new would be crafter

Lovely looking ruler but no matter what I did, I could not stop it sliding on the fabric. No good for quilting.
