Ok
I didn't receive a tactical knife with the pen set with my order. The pen is big, durable and writes very well.

Quality tactical pen
This pen is well designed and I have had no issues with it. Some other reviewers took issue with the clip coming loose, so as soon as I got mine I took the screws out and applied a drop of blue loc-tite to each, hence, no problem. The advertised "glow in the dark" insert on the cap doesn't really glow bright enough to see unless you intentionally hold it up to a light for a few seconds, but that was not an issue for me. In the event that this pen was to ever be used as a weapon, the crown would be capable of doing a great deal of superficial damage as the rim is jagged, almost serrated. Of course the writing end could always be used as a stabbing weapon. The ink refill included writes well and a wide variety of refills in this style are available at most any office supply store.

poor quality
Only part that seems to be made of steel is the pocket clip. Seems to be rusted when item delivered. Main body of pen is some cheap light metal. Don't expect to use for anything much if you buy this item.

Would not recommend
First off, there was no knife included in this "Tactical Pen and Knife Set" so that is a minus right there. As a pen this worked OK, but no better than a cheap Bic ballpoint. The large pocket clip was useful, but required some LocTite as it loosened up after a few days. The black finish doesn't seem to be too durable, it showed wear in several places after a few weeks just from being in a cargo pants pocket.I haven't had to use the pen in an aggressive manner, so I cannot rate the tactical aspect of it. It feels heavy enough, I imagine it would be better than nothing in a self defense situation. I successfully took it through security checkpoints at two major US airports, it didn't seem to raise any suspicion among the screeners although your situation may vary.Short answer is I wouldn't purchase this again, for the money there are better tactical pens on the market.

Pretty Good
First things first I want to say in all fairness I mainly used this for school. So let's just do thisPros: nice big pocket clip, glow in the dark "nib"(even though it barely works), crown, takes Fischer refillsCons: general weird shape, so much twisting to get the ink cartridge ready to write, ugly imprint because of lines 2/3 of the way then circles 1/3 of the way, pocket clip screws not durableThat's just some stuff for you to think about. I do like to have this on me at times I can't have a knife or don't feel comfortable with a knife. And it has actually come in handy before. I've been using this pen for over a year and seven months.

ok tac pen, there are better...
Bought this pen thinking it was made of stainless steel, its made of aluminum. Lighter than the uzi, mtech, crkt tao and fury i own but not lighter than the united cutlery. Aggressive, tactical look, although the knurling isn't, if you want aggressive grippy knurling the uzi is the one. The anodizing is ok, the worst of all the tac pens i own. The dna catcher is also just ok, not really as sharp as i'd like and the glow end doesn't really glow for any extended period; you charge it and it expires too quickly to be of any use, not that in any tactical situation you would want this, so it might be a plus. Another sore point is; when you extend the pen with the writing end out to the maximum, it becomes off center almost like its bent, don't know if this was just mine or the way they all come. The best thing about this pen is the clip which is held on by two torx screws. Pen looks much better in pics, somewhat of a disappointment in real life: Was expecting something a lot beefier, along the lines of my uzi or mtech . Dont get me wrong, this will get the job done and for the price who cares, i just want to point out from the ones that i own, there are better than this.

Overall a great pen
Bought this as a replacement to my previous pen that I lost after 5 years of ownership.Definitely comfortable to write with and daily carry. The "dna catcher" on the top is a bit sharp when brand new but it dulls out over time.Overall a great pen and I was bummed when I lost it. I didn't even consider any other pens to replace it with since this performed flawlessly.

Nice pen
Its a nice pen writes well and it is vary sturdy so it can do some damage to some one if needed. But like others have said in other reviews it dose not come with a knife.
