Grew up listening to these all on vinyl. During my adult years I had to slowly sell them off... But now I have the ability to re-own them all on CD! It was fantastic to relive the songs again in one package - Queen were peerless in my opinion and a majority of the tracks throughout the albums are awesome. I cannot comment on the quality of the extras or any of that stuff people seem to get upset about, as I have no frame of reference for any of that. These collections are what they are, all the albums, in order, with some nice little extras. Love it. Now, I'm off to rock...

I have been a Queen fan for over 40 years and had already owned all the albums on CD (and vinyl!). However, this box set neatly brings together all the albums in one convenient package. You get a bonus EP with each album containing rarities and original singles which were not released on any album. This box set together with the other two offer great value for the beginner to build up a complete Queen collection rapidly and relatively cheaply. Good stuff.

I am posting a pretty much identical review for this 2nd volume to the one I posted for the first boxset as the same applies to both:I don't need to write about the albums as everyone knows they're classics, so I'll just write about this release.The new masters sound excellent, definitely the best CD releases available and head and shoulders above the woeful 90's EMI remasters.The extras are sparse but decent if you don't already own bootlegs and such that feature them, which personally, I don't. The box and poster are basic but good enough just to band the discs together, I'm in the UK but by ordering this from the States via Amazon Marketplace I got all 5 albums cheaper than I would have over here plus the box to keep them in! Only difference is the label is Hollywood, not Island, and the CD cases are standard jewel not Super jewel. The content is identical.

There is nothing, absolutely nothing, Queen wise that I don't have if it was released in the UK and tons of other stuff as well from around the word. But this, & it's 2 companions that make up Queen's 40 years in the studio, is among the best reissues of them all. And the quality is superb. Much better than the 90's remixes & there is a bonus cd with every album. If you're a mega fan or a casual buyer this is worth every penny.

From We are the champions to Under pressure there's a mixture of punk to disco amongst these albums .Queen developed into the supergroup we love and know.diverse seems to be a good description of these mid term queen albums. Each cd contains a bonus cd with b sides live tracks and remixes well worth listening to. A must for die hard queen fans

Para quem não tem nada do Queen como era meu caso vale a pena.Estou de olho para comprar os outros dois box.

Ich muss sagen für den Preis - unter 50 Euro - ist diese Box mit den "deluxe"-Ausgaben der 2011 remasters ein absolutes Schnäppchen! Sie müsste mindestens das doppelte kosten. Fast schon wie ein Fehler im System, dieser Pres... Kam halt aus den USA, was ein bisschen länger dauert. Außerdem sind die 2CD-Hüllen keine Super-Jewel Cases wie die europäischen Queen Remaster.Was man bekommt ist klanglich optimal für das Auto oder für den Discman, falls jemand solche Geräte noch benutzt. Auch für die Stereoanlage gehen diese CDs ganz gut.OK, die Dynamik ist etwas beschränkt ("siehe "Loudness Wars"), und die Höhen sind ganz schön angehoben, aber alles im erträglichen Bereich. Alles im Vregleich zu den alten 80er CDs, die zwar sehr natürlich und warm klangen. Die neuen klingen halt um einiges frischer.Und die Bonus-EPs sind zwar ärgerlich mit den ganzen losen Live-Tracks, aber hey, wo bekommt man sonst "A Human Body" oder "Feelings, Feelings"?

Ce coffret CD est EXCELLENT et je le recommande fortement pour tous les fans de Queen.Il contient les albums studio du groupe de 6 à 10, soit :- QUEEN NEWS OF THE WORLD 1977- QUEEN JAZZ 1978- QUEEN THE GAME 1980- QUEEN FLASH GORDON 1980 (ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK MUSIC)- QUEEN HOT SPACE 1982C’est vrai que ce coffret est plus dispendieux que le volume 1 et volume 3. Mais si vous avez la chance comme moi de pouvoir l’acheter à meilleur prix sauté sur l’occasion. Car moi j’ai pu l’acheter à moitié prix grâce au spécial des 2 jours Prime du mois d’octobre.Chaque album contient 2 CD, chaque CD ont été remasterisé en 2011. Le premier est l’album studio original et le second contient des BONUS, soit des versions EP des versions démos, des versions Session de la BBC, des versions instrumentales, des face-B ou bien des versions LIVE. Ce qui fait un total de 10 CD par coffret.Si vous êtes comme moi un collectionneur et amateur de Queen ne manquer cette chance de vous procurez les 3 coffrets pour un total de 30 CD, car ils en valent la peine. Alors vous aurez la chance comme moi de posséder les 15 albums studio du groupe original avec Freddie Mercury (chanteur et leader du groupe), Brian May (guitariste), John Deacon (bassiste) et Roger Taylor (batteur).Peut-être que quelques-uns parmi vous diront que le groupe ont enregistré 16 album studio, c’est vrai. Mais pour moi le véritable groupe Queen n’est rien sans Freddie Mercury décédé en 1991 du sida. Alors c’est pour cette raison que je ne tiens pas compte du 16ième album, car ce dernier a été enregistré avec le chanteur Paul Rodgers dont la voie est loin d’atteindre celle de Freddie Mercury, même si Freddie aimait beaucoup ce chanteur.Il est a remarqué que le 15ième album studio MADE IN HEAVEN de groupe est sortie en 1995 après la mort de Freddie. Mais cet album est constitué de sessions de chant enregistrées en 1991 et d’ébauches mises de côté lors des enregistrements précédents du groupe enregistrées avec Freddie Mercury avant sa mort.Alors ne laisser pas passer cette chance de vous procurez ce coffret de 10 CD et je vous encourage de vous procurez les 3 coffrets pour un grand total de 30 CD, alors vous aurez la discographie complète des albums studio du groupe, car ces coffrets sont de vrai bijou.Bonne Écoute!!!
