It took a little time to untangle the planets in order to assemble. They are built out of round foam balls that are sturdy. Perfect value for the cost. It fun and my daughter loves it hanging in her room. The string that comes with it is short, we added a little longer piece. To make it longer. Overall, I am glad we purchased it.

Not worth $40 for sure. My son is obsessed with planets/space…asked for months and months for a planet mobile. Found this one and thought it was perfect. When it arrived it was just foam balls with a coating on it to look like planets and they were attached to flimsy “metal” rods with string. I literally could have made something better myself. It easily tabled, I spent more time untangling it than my son played with it. I don’t recommend.

This product is mediocre at best. Cheap foam balls. Ring planets no rings. Not worth the price.

First of all, the “planets” are all the exact same size, just different colors. Secondly, it felt flimsy when I was putting it together and sure enough, when they moved and tried to rehang it, it fell all apart. Now he uses the balls to play with the cats. Sometimes it’s better to go for quality than a lower price.
