Perfect remote ID for Spektrum users
A bit speedy, but worth is as it is hassle free once installed. You donโt have to worry about keeping it charged as it ties right in to the receiver. Very light and small and gets the job done for remote ID. If you use Spektrum, this is the way to go.

Do not order RFIDs from Spektrum
Do NOT buy this product. According to the FAA, Spektrum is NOT registering their products with the FAA in a timely way. I ordered 2 of these RFID's and tried to register them on the FAADrone website. NONE of the ones I got were valid serial numbers. Emailed Spektrum and they sent me 2 more...neither of them worked. I now have 6 RFID modules and none of them work. Go find RFID from anyone except Spektrum.

Very small, lightweight and it works perfectly
I like that it can be powered from a receiver servo channel or by a lightweight 2S battery. Connect it to an appropriate power source. When the orange indicator light stops flashing, you are remote ID compliant. It's just that simple. A+ ๐

Don't get it, it doesn't work.
This would not register on the faa site. All numbers and letters were typed in correctly. It says the faa number is invalid. If the faa is requiring us to follow this rule, atleast make it work! I ordered a replacement, same issue! I wouldn't recommend this. I reached out to spektrum/horizon hobby. They mentioned that they won't register on the faa site. It's an issue with the faa. I wouldn't purchase this until the issues are resolved with the faa.

Much difficulty registering product
I've been trying to register this device on the FAA website for months, spectrum support says its an FAA problem. I had just about given up when I tried it again this morning just for the heck of it. And , Glory be, it successfully registered! Changed my original 1 star review to 3, hopefully, whatever the problem was is fixed now.

This will conform to coming legal ID requirement once you register the device with the FAA
The good news is this device is among the cheapest packaged ID solutions for the FAA requirement. It requires power as it has no battery inside, but comes with the cables needed to plug it into your receiver for power. It is easy to move to another airplane by unplugging it, though that would be easier of you use an extension cable on each receiver/airplane combination so you don't have to access the receiver plug. The bad news is that while the ID code for the unit is on the side, the serial number to register it with the manufacturer is hidden in firmware and NOT on the box or on unit and requires a separate cable (normal 3 pin receiver plug to a USB plug) that is not included and sells for another $25, plus shipping, tax, etc. It's not clear what benefit there is to registering your unit with Spektrum, but plan accordingly.
