I did notice a slight issue with the lights - at full strength, there was noticeable flickering, but this seemed to be intermittent.In terms of performance, the light is very bright, and adds definition to selfies that would have otherwise been dull. My photos show before, and after use of the ring light. For clarity, they were taken in the same room, with the same amount of background light. I definitely feel that the device added more detail to my eye. You get a lot of adjustability with the included controller, by being able to change the brightness (which has a wide range), and tone (warm and cool white light).
