I use them on mugs of tea to keep them warm. They work very well and in turn keep away flies and other bugs from the sweet tea. They require quite a bit of force to stretch them out - so not too easy. However, when they're on, they're very secure. They're easy to wash, just a couple of seconds in soapy water, and they're ready to reuse! Very good value for money: you get 12 for the price. That's many insulated mugs! Or jars! Whatever you need them for, they're bound to work. On my mugs, they manage to prevent spills too - watertight seal perhaps. Good for those pesky pets that always want to knock stuff over. Much more useful than using a sheet of single use cling film or aluminium foil!

Really good! Ideal for sealing small tins of cat food to keep fresh and contain odours. Easy to clean too.

These are great for covering food especially the leftovers that you put in the fridge. A bit fiddly to put on some containers but it gets easier with practice

We have tins of food in the fridge that are part used. These silicone lids are fantastic for keeping the contents airtight and fresh. They work equally well on cream cartons and yogurt pots also.

These are just too small to be of any use. When you stretch them over the yogurt pot, it collapses the top. Don't waste your money.

3 out of the 12 have split in just 3 weeks of use. I make lots of juices and wanted lids for the glasses to keep them fresh. Top tip....do not try and put on if either the lid or glass is still wet from rinsing. Its resulted in 2 glasses of juice beung spilt. They are v effective. Before i was using tinfoil but quite useless and not eco if they keep on tearing and they are not being overstretched on something too big, if they were I would understand.

The lids really are very small, and so are difficult to stretch to bigger containers, i.e. cup size, but once on they are very secure. I am not sure how many washes they will last for!
