Great product and good price.If you plan to run them through the dishwasher though be prepared to replace them.

The syringes works well. They are not made of silicone, so it will not last that much if reused. They have caps, that is a plus. The price here is higher than it should be.

Zero issuesIt's going smoothly

This particular feeding syringe is simply the best. I have tried other brands for my direct stomach feeding and possibly they would be okay in a drip bag delivery, but if you are using the plunger by hand to deliver your food, this one is wonderfully smooth for at least a day's worth of feedings (in my case, 4). With other brands I tried, the plunger would very quickly become very difficult to push and then just get stuck and refuse to budge either up or down. (It's enough of a pain to eat and drink this way, without recalcitrant equipment!) This brand is a good monetary value too in the 30-pack.

These arrived quickly. Markings were clear and they were individually wrapped to keep them sterile. The tips are dead center, not offset to one side.

I really liked these. When my Gastro doc changed my PEG tube and type of port without telling anyone leaving me unable to feed myself or take my medication these syringes really came through. They work as expected and I fired my doctor. Fast delivery thank goodness!

Med syringes as described

1) After a few feedings the plunger becomes very resistant to moving in the body. Can extend the life to ~3 days with repeated applications of olive oil. However, olive oil will stick if left immobile for a few minutes or more, though it can be freed up with a little force and will subsequently glide easily for immediate use.2) Even with extending usage through application of olive oil, sealing-tip will ultimately begin to distort and partially come off of plastic after about 10 feedings. Must toss at that point.3) Using periodic applications of food grade, low viscosity silicone oil my current syringe has lasted 3 weeks and it is still working just fine. Didn't need to buy that box of 30 syringes at all!4) Lastly, the ml volume markings rub off after about 3 to 5 feedings.
