WINTER LIGHTNING Sledge - ASSORTED COLOURS

Excellent value sledge, long enough for most adults to sit comfortably with legs straight and flat bottom means it went very well even with the minimum amount of snow! Plastic bends at sides if a lot of weight is put on it for example an adult pushing yourself up out of sledge but it survived adults use and two teens at one time! Anyway at this price we can afford to buy another one in a few years if it does break and still have very cheap fun in the snow for the whole family. Highly recommended.

I don't know what the manufacturers are thinking, they obviously never tested this design and material or it's just a bad batch. One sledge broke the first day, both broken by the 2nd. The shape is not a problem, it's massive and a good fast design. The problem is the plastic they're using is too brittle and they just break, the manufacturers need to use something more rubbery/tougher in general. Otherwise just a massive waste of everybody's time and expense. I had two very disappointed children as a result of buying these.

I got this for my large GSD to pull me around the field, if he is willing, he is very strong, but not allowed to pull on lead! It has been fine so far, carrying a big tyre. Just need to adapt his harness so it pulls straight behind him. It would be great for kids or adults in snow. I think rubber handles on each side would make it even better for sledding.

The sledge arrived promptly, one day before a heavy snow storm.Next morning, the snow had settled, I sprang out of bed like a child on christmas morning.I ran to the top of the hill, boarded my new sledge and set off..... broke into 2 peices within 10 seconds of descent.... the only thing this was good for was providing plenty of entertainment for friends and onlookers.1/5 will not buy again

Happy with the product. Unfortunately, I only used it once. After heavy snowing during the night in my area, all nearby hills have been covered with a good layer of snow. Next morning I took my kids for a slide - a good couple of hours of play. Sledge did a good job, I said to my kids we must do it again but since that day all snow melted, now we have July and I think I need to wait a while before I can use it the second time. But so far Happy with the product.

Came out of the packet warped out of shape. Quite flimsey.I did perform well in the snow.As with other sledges ive tried, you need to go down fresh snow with it first to create a more compacted sort of track. Then it will go really fast on the same track.This sledge is quite long and easily fits me and my 3 yr old without my feet hanging out.Lightweight and easy to carry under arm.

I haven’t used them yet. But in terms of initial impressions these look really good. Much more solid feel than the usual flimsy stuff you get in the ships and they are pretty long and fast looking.will Let you know how I get on in France!

The sledge is a good size. 1 adult and 1 child fit comfortably. It is also fast, we were the fastest sledge down the hill. HOWEVER on 2nd go on a normal grassy smooth slope in a decent amount of snow it developed a crack in the seat that got progressively bigger on each go making the sledge useless. Worse still is that to get a refund I need to post it back!
