Headphone stand is pretty decently bright and is a great way to add a bit of atmosphere to a room. Build quality is actually pretty good and it is in no way too large or too wide and would not stretch out an average set of headphones. As for what is advertised I would say this gets a solid 10 out 10.There are a few things lacking that could make this the perfect headphone stand however. There is no USB charge ports on the base to charge up your headphones. It would be nice if there was a standard USB and USB Type C charge port built in. It would also be nice to be able to change the colours of the LEDs. Lastly the power cable for the headphone stand is quite short (approx 24 inches or 60cm) which limits where it can be placed. Another meter of cable would be nice.
