What is the AVENGER ROM Knee Brace? The Orthotix AVENGER ROM Knee Brace has been specifically designed for the rehabilitation of ligament injuries & cartilage tears. It is ideal for use both in recovery and as a preventative measure (injury re-occurrence in early stages). The brace allows for varying stages of range of motion movement for the knee over time meaning the user can alter the level of support as the injury heals. How does it work? The AVENGER ROM Knee Brace is a moderate level support system designed to offer support to ligament, meniscus tears and sprains. The patented breathable fabric lining keeps the user cool and comfortable during use. The ROM hinge is tool free and can be set and adjusted by the user allowing for immobilization and support during rehabilitation. The bilateral ROM hinge protects the MCL (medial) and LCL (lateral) and assists in the recovery of knee instability following a cartilage injury. With an extension limit of 0-90 degree and a flexion limit of 0-105 degree the dual pivot hinge allows the knee to move in a similar way to the knees natural motion. Setting the knee brace Setting the brace itself could not be easier. Simply click open the hinge cover and position the pins in desired flexio-extension settings and close the hinge cover until it clicks. Your knee brace is now set and ready to use.

Not suitable for severe hyperextension. I hyperextend by 40 degrees and this brace didn't stop me at all.

This brace was slightly cheaper than some of the alternatives but the quality is top notch and I have found the brace very supportive and it has helped me a lot with my active lifestyle. Big thumbs up for the product and the Customer Service was also very helpful with confirming the correct sizing.
