Review: Worth it - After shipping costs this stuff is really expensive. And for the price I really needed to it blow me away to justify the cost. I'm really surprised to he saying that it legit blew me away. It melted better than any cheese I have ever bought. It tasted great. And it made the best pizza I've ever made. So yeah, definitely better than anything I can get locally.
Review: Natural Cheese is the only way to go! - It was excellent. The texture was perfect and although it more mild than I expected it was perfect with a cup of coffee. Ate nearly half one of the bricks in one sitting. Next time I'll try the Medium Sharp. Can't wait!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: This is too expensive with shipping for me to make Detroit-style pizza with. Is there another cheese someone can please recommend?**
A: I'm from Detroit. Won't be exact, but you can come very close with a mixture of half white cheddar, half Monterey Jack. Crisp crust comes from spreading the cheese all the way to the edge - cheese touching the pan side during baking makes it crisp.

**Q: Are the 8oz blocks sealed in airtight packaging? Wondering if I can buy extra and keep for months unopened.**
A: Hi Jason,
No, unfortunately the 1/2 pound Bricks are not sealed. We get the 5 or so pound loaves and do our own cutting. If you would like to buy whole loaves, you may do so by calling the store directly. (608-873-1777)
Thank you,

Peg @ Cheesers

**Q: Hi,
If I don't open the plastic vacuum pack wrapping, how long will it last in the fridge?**
A: So far mine has done well for a couple months

**Q: The description states the variety is "mustard" Is that correct? I need plain ole cheese**
A: The cheese is plain/no flavor added.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic cheese
*by A***R on June 7, 2026*

might be on the pricy side but seeing as finding genuine brick cheese in my area is borderline nonexistent this has been incredible, once you try a slice nothing else really compares to it, especially if you use it in something like a lasagna or shred some up for homemade pizza, or heck even slicing some off and eating it plain, it's truly that great of a cheese.
