Knife may scratch hand reaching past it for other stuff in pocket
I am impressed with the knife and it's capabilities. Now to learn to use it. There is one thing to note, however. While the knife may not tear up my pocket, it sure does scratch my hand when reaching past it for my keys. I might suggest not carrying anything else in your "knife" pocket, get pants with large, baggy pockets, or whatever works for you.I wear fairly loose Dickies (blue jeans have impossibly tight pockets), and still have issues with the knife scratching my hand when I reach into my pocket. It's probably my technique or the fact that I also have to reach into my pocket for other daily carry items. Not to pick on the Hoffer Liner Lock knife. Just understand that the jagged edges on the handle, that are purpose designed, may also scratch your hand, depending on how you use the knife, what you also have to reach into your pocket to get, etc. As with all things, there is sometimes a trade-off. I have not given up on carrying it, but for now, it resides on my dresser top while my hand heals (joke).

Rust on the blade
I bought this knife at the TTPOA conference. Big mistake. I haven’t even had it a week and the blade is starting to rust. And it hasn’t been exposed to water just Texas weather. Pretty disappointed knowing how much money I dropped on the knife.
