Review: Absolute game changer! - Edited review – This ChuckIt Big Air ball is a complete game changer for my German Shepherd. Despite the sellers slow customer service and their wishy washy response to question I submitted (how does one know when the 3.0 psi was reached), I decided to try again because I had heard such positive things about it. I’m SO glad I hadn’t given up! I decided to inflate ball #2 until it was too difficult to inflate anymore. That did the trick! My dog cannot puncture this ball. Sad that one ball had to be lost to learn that. I have a high drive dog and have never been able to exercise her as much as this Big Air ball. She literally goes until she is panting so hard that she takes a break. When our play is done, I have to put the ball away where she can’t get to it. She is so focused on chasing this ball that she sees nothing else. Including when a guest visiting our house. Unheard of. If she doesn’t lose 5 lbs over the next six months I’ll be shocked (she can afford to lose a few). My walking/running her, throwing a ball back-and-forth 50 times, swimming in the pool, nor play date dates have been able to wear her out to the extent at this toy has. Drawback - it would not work with my dog without a fenced in yard. She would literally run into the street to chase this ball, so an invisible fence would be out. Out of curiosity, and to my dog’s dismay, let my neighbors lab play with it for a few minutes. Their dog was unimpressed. Maybe if I had gone over and engaged the dog with the toy it would’ve been different. Absolutely love this toy! Purchased a second one to have on hand because I don’t want to find out what life is like if this one breaks. I am hoping that I can edit this review based on the positive experiences of others; however, we inflated the first product to 14” as stated. It requires you to inflate to 3 PSI, but if there’s a way to measure that ChuckIt doesn’t say. My German Shepherd punctured it. Convinced that it must be me, I purchased a second, and last, unit which I emailed their customer support because of course there’s no person to speak with, asking how to best measure 3 PSI. Sorry I’m not in the mood to go on YouTube and spend the time that I feel the company should provide the customer. They advise. It will take 5–7 business days for an answer. On day five. Still no answer. Review: Happy Aussie - Aussie loves it. She plays more like a huge ball that can’t slash, cache in the air than herding but she seems very happy with it. 6 month and not ruptures or damage. ## Features - RUN FARTHER, FETCH LONGER: The Air Fetch Dog Ball features a hollow, mesh-like design that helps facilitate airflow into dogs' lungs so your pet can fetch hard and breathe easily. It's compatible with Chuckit! launchers for high-energy play. - FETCH HARD, BREATHE EASY: This ultra-bouncy fetch ball takes games to the next level, outperforming standard tennis balls in bounce and durability. It's the same size but with a smooth surface that’s easy on your dog's mouth. - SIZING MATTERS: The large Air Fetch Ball is 3 inches in diameter and best suited for breeds weighing 60-100lbs. Dog balls should always be small enough for your pet to carry but large enough that the ball cannot completely fit in their mouth. When in doubt, buy a size up. - MAKE FETCH HAPPEN: Chuckit! toys make the best gifts for pet lovers. The Air Fetch Ball is just one of many indoor and outdoor interactive dog toy options we offer, including tumblers, tennis balls, and more. As the #1 stocking stuffers, Chuckit! toys have something for every pet. - CHUCKIT!: For 20 years, Chuckit! has been leading the game of fetch. The special connection between pets and owners is at the heart of every toy we make. But if you have a dog that shoes a lot these won’t hold up. My grand dog managed to eat this one in one day **Q: What is the diameter of each size ball? saying they are 5" or 6" in diameter is clearly wrong. which balls are 70mm or 2.75" in diameter?** A: I ordered large ones and Amazon shipped the wrong size (medium) which were too small for our dog. Returned those and the correct ones (large) are about 3 1/2." These are easy for our dog to catch and, as I explained in an earlier review, are less bouncy than a tennis ball. Which for our dog makes it easier to retrieve. **Q: How durable are these? I have 8 month and 18 month old German Shepherds and they know how to destroy a toy quickly!** A: I purchased a large one of these for my German Shepherd puppy when she was 3 1/2 months old. She enjoys it more than tennis balls. After 2 months it is still intact. I will probably purchase additional balls in the future. The design and the material make this item appealing to my GSD puppy. Because of the design and the material, these can't be thrown as far as tennis balls. Regardless, they are a good dog toy. **Q: Does this bounce like a tennis ball?** A: Hello, No it down not bounce as a tennis ball. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolute game changer! *by A***R on August 22, 2025* Edited review – This ChuckIt Big Air ball is a complete game changer for my German Shepherd. She plays more like a huge ball that can’t slash, cache in the air than herding but she seems very happy with it. 6 month and not ruptures or damage. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good bounce *by S***. on November 4, 2017* Update: we're a month into this ball now and it is still in perfect condition and still the favorite inside the house ball. He couldn't find this ball today and insisted to me that the ball was inside the dryer. I picked up my boy and showed him the top of the dryer, his eyes went to all surfaces several times. He was not satisfied when I said, see it's not there. I had to empty the dryer to prove the ball was not inside the dryer. After crawling around with a flashlight to every corner of the laundry room, I gave up saying I didn't know where he put his ball. I went back to my chores while he sat in the laundry room doorway whining. After an hour, he gave up and fetched another ball, but he was elated when later I opened my closet door and there was the ball. Golly, my determined little dachshund adores this ball, and I'm here ordering another so I don't have to go through this "mom, I can't find my ball" disaster again. Original review: Good size ball for little dogs. My mini dachshund loves balls, day and night he wants a ball, and would play fetch 24 hours a day if I would cooperate. We use this as an inside ball, and it has a great bounce on the hard floor...he loves catching in mid air. This ball is 2.5" in diameter and is made in Vietnam of a sturdy, thick, but flexible rubber type material. While the size is good for little dogs, I do not recommend for a larger or even medium size dog. Neither does it seem durable enough for good sized chompers. My dachshund treasures his balls but this one he is gnawing on, something he hasn't done with any other balls, even soft, stuffed ones. The holes/empty space must encourage this. Therefore, this ball may not last long, but he has definitely added this ball to his treasures the past few days. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/59826492-chuckit-air-fetch-ball-for-dogs](https://www.desertcart.be/products/59826492-chuckit-air-fetch-ball-for-dogs) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-26*
